Работу милиции позитивно оценивают более 73% жителей Витебской области

More than 73% of respondents in a survey by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus in the Vitebsk region expressed a positive opinion about the work of the police in 2015, Viktor Senko, head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, told reporters.

"Last year, 73.4% of survey participants expressed a positive opinion about the work of the Internal Affairs bodies of the region," Viktor Senko noted. The statistics, which are maintained annually by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reflect public opinion on the work of the police and include many criteria: crime detection rate, professionalism, behavioral culture, and others. The public makes its suggestions and remarks on activating the work of the police. "Last year, more than 700 of them were received: on traffic management, the work of the patrol and post service, combating drug addiction, and other areas. The majority of suggestions have been implemented. This is an important aspect of our interaction with society. People's opinions are a guideline that we will continue to rely on in our work," Viktor Senko concluded.
