The rally season in Belarus will conclude with a race in the Braslav district on November 6, where the third stage of the Belarusian championship will take place, Danila Dolmatov, press secretary of the off-road racing committee of the Belarusian Automobile Federation, told BELTA correspondent. Following the "Braslav Jaf Tea Rally" race, the names of the prize-winners in the personal standings of the 2010 championship, as well as the best teams of the current season, will be announced. For the first time, representatives of four states are competing for the title of winner: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and Lithuania. Braslav also hosted the two previous stages. The season started in February. The victory was celebrated by the Minsk crew of Yuri Grishchenkov and Denis Rvyako. The second stage was held in May as an international rally "Slavic Cup" and was combined with a stage of the Open Championship of Russia. Then, the winner of the Belarusian standings was the Ukrainian crew of Vladimir Petrenko and Dmitry Yarovenko, who took the lead in both the absolute standings and the top B12 class. And, if the Kyiv crew confidently leads in their class, then in the overall standings their advantage is not so great. The crew from Minsk, consisting of Anatoly Shimakovsky and Igor Makarchuk, who leads the "two-liter" B11 standings, has a chance to win. In the "youngest" B11 class, Sergey Yushchik and Roman Shirnyuk from Brest are leading. They are challenged by the crew of Andrey Tsygankov and Dmitry Buroi, and other rivals. In the team standings, the top three leaders are: RUSC DOSAAF, MC Kvadrat, SPAS Rally Team. The third stage of the Belarusian championship will take place in one day. Participants will face nine gravel special stages with a total length of 81.4 km, and the entire race route will be 221.4 km. The start of the first car is scheduled for 9:00 AM, and the finish will take place at 4:30 PM.
