Grigory Rapota visited "Monolit" as part of the events of the Union State Day at "Slavianski Bazaar"

Day of the Union State within the framework of "Slavianski Bazaar" saw a solemn flower-laying ceremony at the eternal flame near the memorial to the warrior-liberators, partisans and underground fighters of Vitebsk region on Victory Square. Thus, representatives of the authorities and public associations of the fraternal countries traditionally pay tribute to the heroes thanks to whom our peoples live under a peaceful sky.

In general, the program of events dedicated to the holiday of the peoples of Belarus and Russia was rich in cultural and social events, including the round table "Artistic and Literary Heritage for Future Generations," held at the I. Repin Museum-Estate "Zdravnevo," as well as the concert "Union State Invites..." in the Summer Amphitheater.

In addition, as part of his current visit to the festival, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota visited OJSC "Vitebsk Radio Components Plant "Monolit," 99% of whose products are exported to Russia.

The enterprise holds leading positions in the production of electronic components in the CIS, maintains a high level of scientific and technical potential, and monitors global trends in the production of passive electronic components.

As proof of this, the General Director of the open joint-stock company Akif Gasymov presented samples of innovative products, which have no analogues in the post-Soviet space – high-voltage varistors and surge arresters and nonlinear elements based on them in polymer housings, as well as polymer rod insulators. Grigory Alekseevich also familiarized himself with the technology of ceramic capacitor production.

– OAO "Monolit" is a successful example of cooperation between a responsible investor and the state apparatus, which provided conditions for production development, – noted the State Secretary, summing up the visit. – Today, competitive products of world standards are manufactured here. However, it reached this level not so long ago; a few years ago, it was on the verge of bankruptcy, but thanks to investors and authorities who believed in them, we have a state-of-the-art production facility that can handle almost any task in the defense and civilian industries.

Within the framework of the traditional press conference on the Day of the Union State at "Slavyansky Bazaar," Grigory Rapota also emphasized that in the development dynamics of this particular enterprise, he also sees a general trend in the development of the Republic of Belarus and the development of Russian-Belarusian relations as a whole.

In addition, the State Secretary noted that the structure of trade and economic relations between the two countries includes not only the export of agricultural products to Russia but also a high proportion of science-intensive and high-tech products.

– There are many successful, developing enterprises, but in the context of Russian-Belarusian relations, "Monolit" is unique in that it has access not only to state orders but also to Russia's state defense orders. This became possible due to several reasons. The investors were those who knew how to solve this problem, as they came from the Russian enterprise "Kulon." In addition, they entered the market with innovative products that were practically non-existent in the post-Soviet space and became leaders in a specific technological niche, – explained Grigory Alekseevich. He considers this experience important, requiring study and dissemination.
