By order of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, June 6 has been declared a regional subbotnik (volunteer work day).

The funds raised will be transferred to separate accounts of the financial departments of city and district executive committees. It has been decided to allocate part of the funds for the restoration of the "Breakthrough" memorial complex (Ushachi district), the construction of the House of Mercy in the agro-town of Bychiha, Gorodok district, and for holding the XXIV International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". The second part of the collected funds is planned to be used for the repair and reconstruction of kindergartens, schools, and other social facilities, as well as for the improvement of settlements.

Working groups have been established in cities, districts, and organizations to prepare and conduct the regional субботник (voluntary work day). The headquarters is headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Terentyev.
