October 27, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. In Belarus, the amounts of state benefits for families raising children will increase by 3% from November this year, the main department of employment policy and population of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection informed a BELTA correspondent.
This is due to the approval of a new subsistence minimum budget per capita (from November 1, 2010, to January 31, 2011, it will be Br283,050).
Thus, from November 1 of this year, the monthly child care allowance for a child under three years of age will be Br283,050, and for a child over three years of age - Br84,920. The one-time allowance for the birth of the first child will reach Br1,415,250, and for the birth of the second and subsequent children, Belarusian families will receive Br1,981,350.
