The development of the Gluboksky district was discussed at a reception of citizens with Andreichenko

Issues of rural water supply, assistance to a hearing-impaired person, and district development were discussed during the reception of citizens by the Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko at the Glubokoye District Executive Committee.

The first to address his issue was a resident of Glubokoye. His granddaughter is hearing-impaired and needs an expensive hearing aid, which costs about Br15 thousand. Among other advantages, the equipment will give the girl the opportunity to study with ordinary children. The family does not have such money. Vladimir Andreichenko helped organize an examination of the child at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Otorhinolaryngology. Specialists are to advise on the necessary equipment. The state provides hearing aids to disabled people once every two years. In addition, a charity fundraiser is underway in the district to help the girl.

A resident of the urban-type settlement Podsvilye came with a housing issue. Her house is undergoing major repairs, but the woman has claims regarding the construction work. In addition, she complains that the roof will be made of slate, while she would prefer metal roofing. Representatives of the design and contracting organizations explained that this was done for economy, and all repairs are carried out in accordance with the requirements. The woman was assured that the major repairs would be completed this year.

During the reception, the director of the Glubokoye State Vocational Lyceum, Vasily Luboza, thanked the Chairman of the House of Representatives for his assistance in updating the educational institution's technical base: the lyceum received a new tractor. Also, finances have recently been allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of new equipment for student practice. The head of the educational institution asked for assistance in acquiring a new Gomselmash combine harvester, because the lyceum's fields are sown, and they are harvested with old equipment. This issue will be discussed with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Two residents of the village of Mosar came with a request to eliminate problems in the operation of the water tower. The village has a single water supply source - a tower that periodically breaks down. Currently, it is on the balance of the local collective farm, which is unable to repair the facility, important for the villagers. According to local authorities, the necessary documents are currently being collected to transfer the tower to the balance of "Vitebskoblavodokanal". This work is planned to be completed by the end of the current year.

During the reception with Vladimir Andreichenko, plans for the development of the Gluboksky district for the coming years were also discussed. An inter-district medical center is planned to be created on the basis of the local hospital. This year, the renovation of the building is planned to begin within the walls of the admission department, so that a CT scanner can be installed here in 2022. Necessary examinations will be carried out on it for residents of the western regions of the Vitebsk region. In addition, the construction of a swimming pool at the Gluboksky physical culture and health center was discussed. The facility is also planned to be launched in 2022.

Talking to journalists, Vladimir Andreichenko noted that people raise a wide range of issues at receptions, and they are mainly concerned about local problems. Such communication allows not only to solve specific issues but also to feel the situation in the region and keep a finger on the pulse of public life.

"It is important that people reach out. Despite the fact that dialogue platforms were actively held in the Gluboksky district, nevertheless, people are interested in economic and socio-political issues. This is important, citizens are concerned about the future of the country and the district. They note that a lot has been done in the district over 25 years. A new school, kindergarten, dental hospital, infectious diseases department have been built, the Central District Hospital has been reconstructed, and so on. People say that it is necessary to preserve the country and develop along an evolutionary path, we do not need revolutions. In this context, the All-Belarusian People's Congress should lay the foundation for the development of the country and the region," said the Chairman of the House of Representatives.

Today, about 10 people approached Vladimir Andreichenko for an appointment, both in person and by phone. The discussions included a land dispute, equipping sanatoriums with the necessary infrastructure for wheelchair users, and issuing a permit for technical inspection of vehicles by a diagnostic station in Braslav. The personal problems of the applicants were also touched upon.

After the reception, the Speaker of the House of Representatives will visit the Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant. Vladimir Andreichenko will discuss the results of the local structures' work with the management of the enterprise and the established agro-association following the signing of Decree No. 70 "On the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Vitebsk Region" in February 2020.
