Ticket sales for "Slavianski Bazaar" will begin on February 22
The first tickets for the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" concerts will go on sale on February 22. This was announced at a press conference dedicated to the forum by the General Director of the Vitebsk Culture Center and the festival, Gleb Lapitsky, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Among the artists who will come to the festival, Gleb Lapitsky named the rock band "Kipelov", Alexander Panayotov, Stas Mikhailov, Valery Leontiev, Nadezhda Kadysheva and the ensemble "Zolotoye Koltso". The festival directorate will announce the rest of the names later. Another major project that will take place on the Day of the Union State will be dedicated to the anniversary of the ensemble "Pesniary" and Vladimir Muliavin.
According to the festival director, this personality embodies the friendship of the two countries: being Russian by nationality, he did a lot for the culture of Belarus. "This celebration will bring together many friends of the collective on stage," added Gleb Lapitsky. He paid special attention to the ticket prices, which will remain at the same level. "Tickets will not get more expensive: this is a principled position of the festival directorate. For some projects, for example, for the opening, they will even become cheaper, because we must do everything to attract the audience. The directorate must negotiate and take measures to minimize the costs of holding the forum," the festival director emphasized.
The current festival will be held from July 8 to July 17. The opening ceremony and gala concert of the forum will take place in the Summer Amphitheater on July 11, and the closing ceremony on July 15. Additional events are planned for July 8-10 and July 16-17. The main events of the festival will be the XXVIII International Pop Song Performers Competition "Vitebsk-2019" and the XVII International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk-2019".
