The implementation of three investment projects will be completed in the Vitebsk region this year
12 investment projects for construction, reconstruction, and modernization of production are being implemented in the Vitebsk district. Some of them are at the development stage, while others are nearing completion. "This year, three investment projects have reached the final stage.
A new enterprise has appeared on the district's map - OOO "Ecopil," which will be engaged in the production of fuel pellets. The private investor was attracted by the proximity to the regional center. Production facilities will be located near the agro-town of Kirovskaya. A plot of 0.8 hectares has been allocated, where construction is underway from scratch. The total cost of the project is about Br4 million. The enterprise will create about 15 jobs," said Snezhana Semenova.
The other two enterprises have been operating in the Vitebsk district for several years. To develop new markets and increase production volume, they are undergoing modernization. For example, OOO "Belfood Production," which manufactures baby food products, is expanding its product range and will install a line for producing dry cereals. Thanks to the new direction, the enterprise will be able to create about 10 new jobs. The total investment volume of this project will be around Br3 million.
Another successful manufacturer specializing in food products, OOO "Regita," will also install a new line for the production of natural raw material bars. 10 new jobs will be created here, and the total cost of the investment project will be about Br1 million.
The main source of financing for these projects is bank loans.
In the last quarter of this year, the commissioning of the first phase of a major investment project by OJSC "Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm" is also planned. The enterprise is constructing a broiler shop and a poultry slaughter and processing shop near the settlement of Trigubtsy. In the future, the enterprise will expand its production areas by building a cattle slaughter shop, as well as reconstruct the grain drying and sorting line. The projects are scheduled for completion in 2023. The new shops will create 50 new jobs. The total cost of the large-scale projects will exceed Br150 million.
In the Vitebsk region, the construction of a trade and logistics center and the reconstruction of the "Kalinovo" MTF at the "Agricultural Production "MazolovoGaz" branch are also planned. In 2021, it is planned to attract at least Br150 million of investment in fixed assets in the Vitebsk region, which will be about 105% of the 2020 level.
