Regions of the Vitebsk region and Latvia signed 11 cooperation agreements at the business forum

Eleven cooperation agreements and agreements on the development of good neighborly relations were signed today at the business forum "Vitebsk Region Days in Latgale," BELTA correspondent reports. A program for the implementation of cooperation agreements has been signed between Vitebsk and Daugavpils. The development of trade and economic relations will be a priority in the business relations of the two cities. In particular, the program provides for support to manufacturers from Vitebsk and Daugavpils in creating distribution networks in friendly cities. A similar agreement has been signed between the regional center and Rezekne. Novopolotsk, Polotsk, and Ventspils have developed a joint work plan for the current year in accordance with the sister city agreement. These cities intend to consider the possibility of mutual supplies of industrial and consumer goods. Programs for the development of business and cultural contacts were also signed by five districts of the Vitebsk region and five cities and districts of Latvia. The business forum will conclude its work on April 25. The most active participants of the exhibition are expected to receive diplomas. -0-
