A promotional tour of Latvian tour operators will take place in the Vitebsk region

May 3, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Tour operators from Latvia will get acquainted with the tourist potential of the Vitebsk region on the eve of the holiday season, the head of the Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Vitebsk, Dagnija Lace-Ate, told a BELTA correspondent. The promotional tour is scheduled for May 16-18 this year. It will cover the territories of Dokshytsy, Lepel, Beshenkovichi, Polotsk, Glubokoye, Miory, Sharkovshchina, Verkhnedvinsk, and Braslav districts, as well as the cities of Polotsk, Novopolotsk, and Vitebsk. Guests will be presented with the most interesting objects of history, architecture, and culture, and they will learn about the recreation infrastructure and opportunities for "green tourism". It is expected that upon completion of the tour, cooperation agreements will be signed between tour operators of the Vitebsk region and Latvia. The promotional tour is organized by the Consulate of Latvia in Vitebsk and the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. -0-
