The reconstruction of the rebar production workshop in the Polotsk region will begin in October
According to him, contracts have currently been concluded and letters of credit opened for the supply of three units of main technological equipment under the project "Reconstruction of the rural housing construction complex for the production of metal structures. Implementation of technology for the production of welded grating": a welding line for the manufacture of welded gratings of Austrian production, a line for the production of ribbed bars with a square cross-section twisted along the axis (USA), and a line for longitudinal cutting of rolled steel (Turkey). Procurement procedures for five units of equipment are ongoing. In parallel, the project solution for the reconstruction of the production workshop is being examined by RUP "Glavgosstroyexpertiza for the Vitebsk Region". "It is expected to be ready in September, which will allow us to fully deploy all construction and installation works at this facility in October. In general, we are on schedule for equipment installation (March 2020), commissioning (April 2020), commissioning into operation (June 2020), and reaching design capacity (December 2020)," noted Konstantin Pershikov.
In accordance with the project, the reconstruction of the workshop with a production area of almost 1.3 thousand sq.m includes concrete works to strengthen the foundation, column structures with metal structures, which will be developed, manufactured, and installed directly at the enterprise. It also involves roofing works, closing the building with wall panels, laying engineering communications, and installing the floor and foundation for the equipment.

The enterprise will finance construction work and initial production launch expenses using its own and borrowed resources. Their total volume will be about 150 million Russian rubles. The plant plans to export the main volume of the innovative products obtained to Russia, a market that is already well-studied and familiar: in recent years alone, NZTM has been involved in the production of metal structures for large projects at the Amur Gas Processing Plant, the South Stream facilities, the Omsk Refinery, the Moscow Refinery, and other major enterprises. In addition, last year NZTM obtained certification according to European norms for the supply of metal structures in accordance with the EN1090 standard, which allows it to enter the markets of Western countries.
The implementation of the innovative project will allow the plant to create an additional 30 jobs. Currently, 380 people are employed here.
In January-June, revenue from product sales of the enterprise increased by more than one and a half times compared to the same period last year. Export volume (supplies were made to Russia) increased 1.5 times. In the sales structure, its share accounts for over 90%. In the domestic market, NZTM fulfilled orders for facilities of Vitebsk Broiler Poultry Farm and Miory Metal Rolling Plant. An order for the production of metal structures for OJSC "Naftan" is currently being implemented, where a delayed coking complex is under construction. SOOO "Novopolotsk Plant of Technological Metal Structures" was established with the participation of Russian and Belarusiancapitals. It is part of the "Promstroy" group of companies, specializing in the construction of large industrial facilities in the energy sector of the economy.-
