Renata Litvinova admired the exclusive quality of work by Polotsk seamstresses

March 17, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Renata Litvinova expressed admiration for the skill of Polotsk seamstresses, employees of the joint-stock company "Mona". A letter of thanks from the actress to the enterprise was sent by the well-known Russian company "Melon Fashion Group", which owns the ZARINA trademark, the director of OJSC "Mona" Viktor Amelchenko told a BELTA correspondent. The seamstresses' remote acquaintance with the famous actress and director took place in St. Petersburg at the show of her outerwear collection, which was sewn by Polotsk craftswomen by order of "Melon Fashion Group". The quality of sewing, according to the company's management, delighted Renata Litvinova, and right on the podium in the presence of high society, she expressed her gratitude to the Belarusian enterprise for "exclusive quality". As Viktor Amelchenko noted, such advertising is not uncommon for the Polotsk enterprise. Russian and German companies operating in the fashion industry have long paid attention to "Mona". The enterprise manufactures about 80% of its products according to foreign orders. Russian fashion houses sew suits, jackets, and raincoats, and German companies have concluded that no one makes dresses better than Polotsk residents. While working for the ready-to-wear industry, "Mona" does not forget about ordinary consumers. For the summer season, the enterprise has prepared a new collection of women's clothing made from Belarusian linen. Its production launch will begin at the end of March, and in April it will enter the retail network. For the first time, the collection will be purchased by individual entrepreneurs from Moscow and Voronezh - an agreement on this was reached after an exhibition show in these cities. The interest in Belarusian products, according to Viktor Amelchenko, is due to both the new assortment, which is updated by 90% annually, and the quality, which is achieved through the implementation of high-tech equipment. The enterprise underwent large-scale technical re-equipment in 2007-2008. In 2010, equipment modernization will continue, for which Br300 million will be allocated. OJSC "Mona" has been operating in the market for over 60 years, with 93% of shares owned by the state. According to preliminary data, in the first quarter, the growth rate of production volumes at comparable prices is projected at not less than 112% compared to the same period last year. Inventory levels are 38% of the monthly production volume, which is significantly lower than the standards. -0-
