This was stated today by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a working trip to the Gomel region, according to a BELTA correspondent. "We will look at the growth dynamics, but the main indicator will be profitability, so focus on that," the head of state emphasized. Alexander Lukashenko said that the country has largely completed major innovations in agriculture. "They need to be completed in the next five-year period. Now comes the verification of the correctness of the chosen course, the refinement of agro-towns and targeted injections of funds into specific program areas," the President noted. The head of state added that "under no circumstances should the dispersion of funds be allowed." At the same time, the President drew attention to the need to maintain the strictest discipline and technological standards. "However, I will emphasize again that the dynamics in all areas and profitability should be the main focus," Alexander Lukashenko concluded. -0-
