Profitability in the Vitebsk region has doubled this year
This was announced today by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, at a meeting with the President, which took place in the Vitebsk region.
The head of the region emphasized that, on the whole, the dynamics for the first three months of the current year have been positive. Gross agricultural output amounted to 103.2 percent, construction and installation work – 126 percent, retail trade turnover – 102 percent, and exports of goods – 106 percent. Costs have been reduced, and more direct foreign investment has been received. Employment plans have been fulfilled.
