Republican autocross competitions will be held this weekend near Vitebsk

Fans of active recreation and extreme sports will gather in the agro-town of Tulovo, Vitebsk region, on October 17 and 18 for the republican autocross competitions dedicated to the Day of the Motorist and Road Worker.

As noted by Alexander Lovets, a specialist in sports work of the regional organizational structure of DOSAAF, the traditional race of car racers will be attended by the strongest athletes of different ages from Belarus and Russia, who will compete in various car classes depending on engine displacement. The racing program will be held in two stages. On the first competitive day, races of classes "D-1" and "National-2000" will take place, on the second - "D-1-Junior", "D-2", and "D-3-sprint".
Spectacular skids and drifts, unexpected high-speed turns, "clean" overtakes, and close racing – all this is eagerly awaited by ardent fans. The drivers will demonstrate a strong will to take leading positions, subtle tactical calculations, as well as driving skills.
