The Republican competition of young pop singers "Khali-Halo" will be held in Novopolotsk for the eleventh time on November 14-15.
Issues of its organization were discussed at a meeting of the organizing committee with the participation of Deputy Minister of Culture Vasily Chernik.
The Novopolotsk festival of children's creativity has become an excellent school of mastery for young talents and three years ago received the status of republican. Supporting the competition, the Ministry of Culture plans to bring it to a higher level and make it a platform for selecting talented artists who can successfully participate in other creative projects, including those of international scale. The director-production group, the minister believes, should be formed from local specialists: to train personnel so that they can pass on their experience to subsequent generations. Especially since Novopolotsk has accumulated vast experience in this direction, has a team of true enthusiasts and professionals. This year they promise to demonstrate new discoveries.
Young vocalists aged 8 to 16 from different regions of Belarus will participate in the competition. Winners will be determined in three age categories. The jury will include famous performers, teachers, and art critics in the field of modern pop music. In addition, for the first time, it is planned to organize the work of a children's independent jury.
