The Republican professional skills competition among power plant workers will be held in Vitebsk

Республиканский конкурс профмастерства среди работников электростанций пройдет в Витебске
The Republican competition of professional skills among employees of high and supercritical pressure power plants will be held in Vitebsk at the training center branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo" from October 25 to 27, the enterprise reported.

The best boiler and steam turbine operators, as well as power plant electricians for the maintenance of electrical equipment of State District Power Plants (SDPP) and Combined Heat and Power Plants (CHPP) from different parts of the country will arrive in Vitebsk.

Representatives of 14 teams will compete for the title of the best in their profession. The teams include winners of the first stage of the competition (which was held among power plant personnel in regional energy systems).

Contestants will compete in their knowledge of theoretical issues and safety regulations. They will also need to demonstrate practical skills in identifying and eliminating equipment malfunctions, as well as the ability to provide first aid to the injured, and much more.

The Vitebsk region's energy system will be represented at the professional skills competition by teams from Lukoml SDPP, Novopolotsk and Vitebsk CHPPs.
