The Republican competition among future nurses opens today in Vitebsk

The republican professional skills competition for future nurses opens today in Vitebsk at the state medical college, the director of the educational institution Alexander Tsetsoho told a BELTA correspondent. 56 representatives of the graduating courses of the specialty "nursing" from 14 medical colleges of the republic will take part in the competition. The best students have gathered to defend the honor of their alma mater. They proved their right to do so by winning at the preliminary stages. The republican stage of the competition is held in three stages. Today, participants will have to give written answers to questions on pediatrics, surgery and therapy, as well as pass a test in their professional disciplines. On May 28, participants will demonstrate the knowledge gained over the years of study in practice. The tasks to be performed are the most diverse: from swaddling infants and vaccination to providing emergency medical care. The winners will be determined in individual and team championships. The award ceremony and the closing of the competition will take place on May 29. -0-
