The Republican Youth Train arrived in Polotsk
Immersion into the Polotsk atmosphere began with the charity event "Restoration of the Shrines of Belarus". The participants arrived at the Holy Euphrosyne Monastery, where they not only took a tour of the monastery but also literally rolled up their sleeves and worked hard: the girls weeded the garden, and the boys hauled soil from the Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church under restoration. On the same day, the youth discussed pressing issues during an open dialogue, took part in a rally at the "Urochishche Peski" memorial complex, honoring the memory of the victims of fascism and laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance. To conclude, a city tour awaited them, and they received Certificates confirming their visit to Polotsk – the geographical center of Europe.
