The Republican Para-Festival for the Visually Impaired will be held from May 27-29 in the Horadok district

The Republican Parafestival of Song and Poetry will be held in Gorodok district on May 27-29, the Vitebsk regional organization of the NGO "BelTIZ" informed a BELTA correspondent. Poets, solo performers and groups from all regions of Belarus will take part in the event - about 250 people in total. Poets and singers will compete in their skills for two days. During this time, the jury will have to determine the best masters of song and poetry, an instrumental ensemble, and select winners in the nominations "Best Author's Work", "High Stage Culture" and others. The audience award winner will also be announced. This year's festival is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Therefore, when choosing the winners, jury members will also consider the participants' repertoire. In addition to well-deserved awards, all laureates will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and creative abilities once again in a gala concert, which will take place on the final day of the forum, May 29. The event is designed to promote self-realization of people with disabilities and is one of the effective methods of rehabilitation and socialization for people in this category. -0-
