The Republican festival of circus art "Arena-2019" will be held in Orsha on December 13-14

In order to support circus companies, preserve, develop and popularize the best achievements of circus art in Orsha, the Republican Circus Art Festival "Arena-2019" will be held at the city Culture Center "Pobeda" on December 13-14 of the current year.

Both individual performers and creative groups from the regions of Belarus and Russia will take part in the festival.

The competition performances will be held in four age groups in five nominations for various genres of circus art. Thus, the jury, consisting of artists and figures of circus art, chaired by the General Director, Artistic Director of the Gomel State Circus, Honored Figure of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Yakov Mikhailovich Lobovich, will evaluate the performances of acrobats, jugglers, gymnasts, representatives of the original genre – clowns, magicians.

The organizers of this event are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Methodological Center for Folk Art, the Orsha District Executive Committee.
