The Republican Subbotnik will be held in the Vitebsk region on April 18

The Republican Subbotnik will be held in Belarus on April 18. The working group for its preparation and holding will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Kochanova. The corresponding decision is enshrined in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of April 3, 2015 No. 270.

To address organizational issues for the preparation and holding of this event in the Vitebsk region, by the order of the chairman of the regional executive committee Nikolai Sherstnev, a working group has been created, headed by his deputy Vladimir Terentyev.

On this day, residents of the region will work at their workplaces or be engaged in landscaping and putting in proper order memorial complexes, monuments, places of military glory, graves of those who died during the Great Patriotic War, and preparing children's health and sports and health camps for the summer season.

The funds earned during the subbotnik will be transferred by the regions to the account of the main financial department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee: No. 3642003340018, MFO 635, UNP 300002612, branch No. 200 – Vitebsk Regional Department of OJSC «ASB Belarusbank».

According to the resolution, the funds earned at workplaces during the subbotnik will be directed to the preparation of children's health camps for the summer season, including the development and strengthening of their material and technical base, as well as to the implementation of events related to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, including the repair, reconstruction, restoration, and renovation of memorial complexes, monuments, places of military glory, and graves from the war period.
