The Republican Tourist Gathering of Customs Authorities will be held for the first time in the Vitebsk region on July 21-23

July 20, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The Republican tourist gathering of customs authorities will be held for the first time in the Vitebsk region from July 21 to 23, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk customs.

A total of more than 150 employees of customs authorities, representing combined customs, the central apparatus of the State Customs Committee and the team of RUP "Beltamozhservice", will gather around the tourist campfire, which will be lit in the picturesque tract Vorobyovy Gory in the Gorodok district. The program of the tourist gathering includes more than ten types of competitions, both sports and those related to creating a good mood and domestic comfort at the tourist campsite. According to tradition, during the opening ceremony of the gathering, participants will honor the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War and lay wreaths at one of the military memorials in Gorodok.

Teams will have to demonstrate their skills in traditional tourist competitions and contests for three days, including tug-of-war, volleyball (with an opaque net), and overcoming an obstacle course. Team members will compete in triathlon, in the ability to overcome water surfaces on kayaks, in kettlebell throwing and other strength and intellectual types of competitions. The winner in the overall team championship will be awarded a cup, and prize-winners in the overall standings and the best in individual events will also be recognized.

This year, the customs service of Belarus celebrates the 20th anniversary of its formation, so many competitions and contests will be dedicated to the anniversary date. -0-
