A resource center in the field of mechanical engineering is planned to be opened at the Orsha State Mechanical and Economic College by September 1, Rector of the Republican Institute of Vocational Education Valery Golubovsky told journalists in the BELTA press center.
The resource center will become a platform for training specialists within the framework of network interaction with specialized educational institutions. Here, employees of enterprises will also undergo retraining. Preparation for the opening of the center is in the final stage. "It is planned to complete this work by September 1," said Valery Golubovsky.
According to him, the analysis of personnel training indicates that this block needs to be strengthened - the training of machine operators, those who work on equipment of the machine-building complex.
Four resource centers are currently operating at vocational education institutions in the Vitebsk region: based on the Gorodok Agricultural and Technical College, Polotsk Chemical and Technological College, Vitebsk Industrial and Technological College, and Vitebsk Vocational and Technical College of Mechanical Engineering named after M.F. Shmyrev.
