Revision of the courtyards of multi-story buildings has begun in Vitebsk

The Vitebsk City Executive Committee today began an audit of courtyard areas in mass housing neighborhoods, the deputy head of the city housing department of the executive committee, Alexander Mamaev, told a BELTA correspondent. For the first time, the condition of asphalt pavement, playgrounds, recreation areas, and lighting will be examined. In addition, the approaches to apartment buildings will not be overlooked by the commissions, their glazing and repairs will be checked. As Alexander Mamaev emphasized, the main goal of this audit is to control the housing management companies and determine the scope of upcoming improvement work. This year, more than 30 courtyard areas will be capital repaired in the regional center in accordance with the city program "Courtyards". Current repairs have already been carried out in 12 courtyards. Asphalt pavement has been replaced in more than 150 areas, tiles have been laid, and passages to entrances have been improved. The financing of the work is carried out from funds accumulated in the accounts of housing and communal services enterprises under the item "Technical Maintenance". The "Courtyards" program is part of a large-scale reconstruction of Vitebsk, which includes putting the central streets in order, creating leisure infrastructure, and changing the color and lighting design of the regional center. -0-
