The decision to implement an investment-intensive project in the Vitebsk region was made by the Lithuanian partner after a long study of opportunities and conditions for organizing business in all regions of Belarus. As a result, after visiting the FEZ "Vitebsk" and negotiations with the leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the investor finally decided on the location of production facilities on the territory of one of the FEZ sectors.
The agreement on the implementation of the project for the creation of a woodworking complex was signed by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev and Egidijus Mockus, a member of the supervisory board of VMG Holdings Limited, at the XIV Belarusian-Lithuanian Economic Forum in June 2018 in Vitebsk.
