The residence of Ded Moroz will open in the Polotsk district on December 24, the press service of the Polotsk District Executive Committee reported.

The New Year's cultural and tourist object appeared here last year and will open its doors to guests again this season. In addition to meeting the main Ded Moroz of the district, children and adults will enjoy an entertainment program with elements of orienteering, active games, and contests. "During the fairy-tale quest, visitors will be offered to walk along a magical path past the kikimora's swamp, find a clearing of New Year's surprises, make their way to the she-bear's tract and find themselves in an enchanted place. Each obstacle will provide clues and directions for passing the next stage and composing the text of a spell that will help them meet Ded Moroz and Snegurochka," the district executive committee said.

Near the festive tree of the estate, a New Year's talent casting will be organized with games, fun, and round dances, the participants of which will receive sweet prizes from the host. And in the residence building itself, Ded Moroz's guests will take part in master classes on making New Year's gifts, visit magical souvenir shops and the "Morozko" New Year's cafe, and will also be able to whisper their most cherished wish into the ear of a magical rabbit.

The residence is located on the basis of the Department of Tourism, Local Lore and Excursions of the Polotsk District. Ded Moroz and his cheerful company will receive guests here until January 10 from 11:00 to 16:00. Only on December 25, January 1 and 7, the host will leave the residence for a while to deliver gifts to children.
