The Snegurochka Residence opened in the Gorodok district
It is located on an island between the two lakes, Lugovoye and Orekhovoye, in the district center. Hundreds of local residents, representatives of authorities, and public organizations gathered there for the opening ceremony.
— The task to organize an entertainment area near the Gorodok ski and roller ski track was set by the chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev. As a result, an interesting recreation spot has appeared, — said the chairman of the regional council of deputies, Vladimir Terentyev. — You can come here with the whole family, go sledding on tubes, arrange winter fun, so I am sure that it will be popular not only with Gorodok residents but also with visitors.
An engaging game program was prepared for the holiday guests. It was possible to visit interactive New Year's sites, where fairy-tale characters held a magical performance, and the hostess of the Snegurochka residence met everyone on the porch of her house.
As noted by the chairman of the district executive committee, Petr Korobach, further improvement of the island is planned, with the equipping of additional sites that will be of interest to tourists and vacationers.
