From childhood and Novopolotsk
The "Khali-Halo" competition has discovered new "stars" and presented bright premieres to the public.
We remind you that the Novopolotsk competition for young pop singers, which was born 18 years ago, has acquired the status of a republican competition this year. And this time, "Khali-Halo" lived up to all expectations.
More than 40 participants from different parts of Belarus and the twin city of Odintsovo (Russia) gathered on the stage of the local Palace of Culture to test their creative abilities. As a result, Valeria Gribusova from Mogilev became the Grand Prix winner. The jury predicts a promising singer's future for the girl with a strong and captivating voice. By the way, already established artists such as Pyotr Elfimov and Natalia Podolskaya, who also debuted on the Novopolotsk stage in their youth, went through the Mogilev school. In turn, our compatriots took second place: in the younger age category, Alexander Minenok from Vitebsk received "silver," Yana Barinova from Lepel and Anna Muravyova from Polotsk shared third place. Polina Veriga, representing Sharkovshchina, also closed the top three leaders, but among the middle-aged contestants.
At the same time, "Khali-Halo" is not just a competition for young talents. It is also a celebration of childhood, fun, and beloved songs familiar to everyone from an early age. But this year, the first song performed on stage was dedicated directly to the competition. It was performed by soloists of the "On Line" studio of the Palace of Culture of OJSC "Naftan." The jury chairman, Pyotr Elfimov, also prepared his premiere. As part of the festival, he gave a solo concert where he presented his new album "Book of Revelations" to the public. In addition, this year the artist also debuted as the musical director of the "Khali-Halo" project, although he has long been an honored guest of this creative marathon.
