Russians will breed deer in the Gorodok district
They will be engaged in breeds that are not found in Belarus. The first animals from Poland, Belgium, and Germany will be delivered by the end of the year. Over five years, it is planned to spend 1.1 million dollars on arrangement and production, and create new jobs. The plan is to raise up to 100-120 animals per year and sell them to hunting grounds in the republic and abroad. The nursery will also have its own hunting grounds; about 100 hectares of former agricultural land in the Stodolishchensky village council have been allocated for these needs, where tourists will be able to not only see red deer but also hunt them with a crossbow. Currently, construction of the perimeter fence is underway, and an application has been submitted for land allocation for the construction of an administrative and economic complex, reported Dmitry Aksyuchits, head of the land management service of the district executive committee.
