Russian scientists are ready to offer Bellegprom new technologies for the production of woolen products

November 18, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. Russian scientists are ready to offer the enterprises of the "Bellegprom" concern new technological solutions for the production of woolen products. This was announced to journalists by the Director General of the "TsNIIShersť" Scientific and Production Complex, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Konstantin Razumeyev, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent. He is taking part in the international scientific conference "New in the Technology and Engineering of the Textile and Light Industry," which is being held today at the Vitebsk State Technological University (VSTU). According to him, the Russian scientific institution has been actively cooperating with Belarusian scientists and manufacturers for several decades. At the conference in Vitebsk, specialists from TsNII brought proposals for the implementation of promising technologies for primary wool processing, as well as developments related to the production of new types of carpets. "If pure wool carpets were in vogue before, today products with a high content of chemical fibers occupy a significant share of the market, which requires manufacturers to adopt new approaches to organizing production, including the technological equipment of carpet enterprises," noted Konstantin Razumeyev. The possibilities and prospects for cooperation with Belarusian enterprises are planned to be discussed at the conference, as well as during visits to enterprises, in particular, OJSC "Vitebskiye Kovry". In addition, representatives of the Russian institute intend to familiarize themselves with the developments of VSTU specialists and discuss promising areas of cooperation. Following the conference, a 5-year cooperation plan between TsNIIShersť and VSTU is planned to be signed, which will provide for the areas of interaction between the institutions in various fields of scientific activity. Representatives of more than 30 scientific and educational institutions from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan, as well as specialists from domestic light industry enterprises, have shown interest in the international scientific conference in Vitebsk. During the one-day forum, participants discuss innovations and promising technologies and directions for the development of yarn, fabric, and knitwear production, as well as clothing and footwear design. The format of the event allows specialists to exchange developments in the field of equipment for the light and textile industries, as well as share opinions and achievements in the application of chemical technologies, in solving resource-saving problems, and discuss issues of ecology and waste recycling. The Vitebsk State Technological University is the organizer of the conference. -0-
