A Christmas gift for children can now be made at the registry office

“Christmas Gift for Children”” – is the first joint charity event of the education and civil registry departments of the administration of the Pervomaysky District of Vitebsk. It starts on December 1 and will last until the end of the month.Anyone can make a Christmas gift for a child left without parental care, an orphan, or a child with a disability. It doesn't matter if it's candy, pens, pencils, notebooks, or toys – on a festive day when you want to believe in miracles, anything will bring joy to a child.
Employees of the district civil registry office will invite everyone who comes to them to apply for marriage registration or to register the birth of a son or daughter to participate in the event.
– This can be particularly symbolic for newlyweds, – is confident the head of the district civil registry office, Alesya Martynova. – Every couple, when getting married, sooner or later thinks about continuing the family. And why not start by helping someone else's child who also needs care and affection.
A festive package will be sent to the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home so that every resident will have a gift under the Christmas tree.
