A leader must be a role model for their team - opinion of a youth leader

April 21, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. A leader must be a role model for their team. This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by the First Secretary of the Vitebsk City Committee of the Belarusian National Youth Union (BNYU), Lyudmila Klemenchenko, commenting on the Head of State's Address. The President's address contains a call to treat one's work with the utmost seriousness and responsibility, without sloppiness. "This is correct, because by conscientiously working for the benefit of our country, we ultimately improve our personal standard of living," Lyudmila Klemenchenko emphasized. The youth leader drew attention to the role of leaders. "Those who lead a work collective, a team today, must embody an example to follow, be worthy leaders, and therefore set the highest standards for themselves. Where this is lacking, the result is corresponding," the interlocutor believes. In this regard, Lyudmila Klemenchenko touched upon the activities of the BNYU. "Creative young people come to our youth organization, each of whom possesses leadership qualities, so our task is to help them reveal themselves as much as possible, find their self-determination, and most importantly, become a person with a capital 'P'," she stressed. In the Address, the Head of State addressed all current issues for our people, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to every issue, Lyudmila Klemenchenko concluded. -0-
