Regional heads took part in the gathering near Grodno

A training session with territorial defense troops, involving regional leadership, was held at the Gozhsky training ground near Grodno.

Today, at the training center of the 6th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade at the Gozhsky training ground, a training session was held with the chairmen of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, as well as their deputies and heads of military commissariats. The purpose of the training session is to enhance the knowledge of regional leaders in matters of joint actions in modern armed conflicts, as well as to improve skills in handling weapons.

The participants of the training session studied the procedure for the deployment of territorial troops in conjunction with military units of the Armed Forces and border guard services in protecting sections of the state border. In addition, classes and analysis were conducted on the methodology of combat coordination for territorial troop units intended to ensure martial law. The participants also familiarized themselves with samples of armaments and advanced communication equipment of the territorial defense forces.

The training session is held annually in different regions of the country. This is the 7th time it has been organized.
