Heads of regional customs of Belarus and Russia will discuss cooperation issues at a meeting in Orsha

Issues of interaction between customs services to promote trade development between Belarus and Russia will be discussed at a meeting of heads of regional customs of the two countries on September 24 in Orsha, the Vitebsk customs informed a BELTA correspondent. The event, initiated by the State Customs Committee of Belarus, will be attended by representatives of the SCC, heads of Vitebsk, Polotsk, Mogilev, Gomel, as well as Sebezh, Bryansk and Smolensk customs. During the meeting, it is planned to consider issues of optimizing the activities of customs of the border regions of the two countries to promote the development of cross-border trade, and information exchange between customs authorities in order to eliminate queues at the Belarusian-Russian border. Heads of customs authorities will discuss measures aimed at reducing the time of crossing the Belarusian-Russian section of the border and creating favorable conditions for foreign economic activity participants. -0-
