The leadership of the Vitebsk region congratulates employees and veterans of emergency services and units on their professional holiday - Rescuer's Day

EMERCOM employees are people of utmost composure, endurance, and the ability to make the single correct decision quickly. On the front lines of the fight against natural and man-made disasters, you are the first to provide support to those in trouble.

In 2024 alone, rescuers of the Vitebsk region have saved over 60 human lives, including 9 children.

The material and technical base of the department is constantly being updated to work efficiently and with high quality. Last year, the region's units received the first 52-meter AL-52 ladder of domestic production, which has no analogues in the country's units.

Thanks to the effectively organized informing of the population about safety rules, the number of deaths from fires in the region is decreasing.

Dear friends! On behalf of all residents of the Vitebsk region, we thank you for your hard work, for your courage and heroism, for your compassion and your ability to come to the rescue in a matter of minutes!

Special words of gratitude go to the service veterans, who are an example and a moral compass for new generations of rescuers.

We wish you good health, peace, tranquility, and kindness, inexhaustible vitality, energy, and success in the noble cause of saving people and serving our native Belarus!

Sincerely, A. M. Subbotin, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and D. V. Demidov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies.
