We sincerely congratulate you on Mother's Day!

There is no one closer or dearer in the world than a mother. Her love protects us from infancy, warms us in difficult times, and helps us achieve our goals.

On this festive day, we address words of sincere gratitude, love, and respect to all mothers – caring, patient, wise. Motherhood is great happiness and immense responsibility. It is with mother's milk that we absorb love for our homeland, family and cultural traditions, spiritual values that we preserve and pass down from generation to generation. A faithful mother's heart and a strong father's shoulder serve as support in any trials.

We appreciate the work of mothers with many children. We thank women whose homes have become native for children adopted or taken into care. Motherhood is honored with high state awards. The most important is the Order of Mother, awarded to those who have given birth to and raised five or more children. This award will be presented to fourteen women from the Vitebsk region on the eve of Mother's Day.

By tradition, annually 25 residents of the region become recipients of the award of the regional executive committee named after Hero of the Soviet Union Zinaida Mikhailovna Tusnolobova-Marchenko. Their example teaches parental responsibility, the preservation and multiplication of virtue in family relationships.
