RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" invested Br7.8 billion in production development in January-August, the enterprise's General Director Mikhail Rog told a BELTA correspondent. One of the largest projects implemented within the framework of the republican import substitution program was the installation of the first technological line in Belarus for the production of extruded bread products at the reconstructed workshop of the Polotsk bakery. The cost of the French equipment with a capacity of 100-140 kg of products per hour is Br2.1 billion. It is planned that the products will be sold in all regions of the republic. Significant measures to improve the production process and product quality included the commissioning of two Italian-made baking ovens at the Vitebsk bakery in workshop No. 2, and the modernization of the workshop with the installation of a baking oven at the Miory bakery. At the Novolukoml plant, the compressor unit was reconstructed and underground heat pipeline networks were replaced, and at the Lepel bakery, the confectionery workshop reconstruction was completed. A significant amount of work was also carried out at other branches. In January-August, "Vitebskhlebprom" enterprises produced 39.6 thousand tons of bakery products and 867 tons of confectionery products worth Br71 billion, which is 8.6% higher than the same period last year. Products worth $634 thousand were exported. The share of new types of products was 57.5%. The energy saving indicator for eight months was minus 13.6%. The profitability of sales for the seven months was 8.9%. RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" includes 11 bakeries, the construction and installation enterprise "Vitebskhlebstroy", and the agricultural enterprise "Prozhektor". The average number of employees at the enterprise is over 2.7 thousand people. -0-
