RUE "Vitebskhlebprom" will complete the implementation of two major projects in the first quarter

Republican Unitary Production Enterprise "Vitebskhlebprom" will complete the implementation of two major projects in the first quarter, Chief Engineer of the enterprise Alexander Korolev informed a BELTA correspondent.

The project, costing Br25 billion, is being implemented on the territory of workshop No. 1 in Vitebsk. An additional workshop for the production of extruded rusks, bakery products, and toast bread has been built here. The capacity of the Czech equipment is about 1 ton of products per day. Commissioning and setup work is underway in the workshop, which is planned to be completed by the end of the first quarter. In parallel, a trial batch of products has been released and is undergoing laboratory tests.

The investment project at the Verkhnedvinsk bakery, started in 2012, is to be completed within similar deadlines. A large-scale reconstruction of the bakery products workshop with the replacement of technological equipment is underway at this branch. For this purpose, a new line for the production of dryers with a capacity of 100 tons per month, a modern gas oven of Czech production, and cutting equipment were purchased. Currently, comprehensive individual tests of each piece of equipment are being carried out at the enterprise. Commissioning and setup work is planned to begin in early March. This year's investment to complete the project will amount to Br200 million. The total cost of the project is Br2.5 billion.

The technical re-equipment program of RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" for 2013 also includes other measures related to the purchase of new equipment, transport, and reconstruction at the enterprise's branches. The total volume of investment in fixed assets will be about Br9.9 billion. "The implementation of these measures will contribute to increasing labor productivity, reducing energy and material intensity, and corresponds to the goals set for producers in connection with the declaration of 2013 as the Year of Thrift," noted Alexander Korolev.

In January, enterprises of RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" produced products worth Br40.5 billion, or 148% compared to January 2012. 4.1 thousand tons of bakery products and 157 tons of confectionery products were produced (103.3% compared to the level of January last year). Bakery and confectionery products worth $149.3 thousand were exported to Russia (138.7% respectively). Sales profitability for the results of 2012 was 7.4%. The energy saving indicator was minus 9.6%. The volume of investments for the past year reached Br44 billion. The main part of the funds was directed towards the acquisition of new equipment for the branches.

RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" unites 2 workshops and 3 production sites in Vitebsk. On the rights of branches, it includes 10 bakeries in the district centers of the Vitebsk region: Braslav, Verkhnedvinsk, Glubokoye, Dokshitsy, Lepel, Miory, Novolukoml, Novopolotsk, Orsha, and Polotsk. The enterprise includes SMP "Vitebskhlebstroy", SPP "Prozhektor", and a network of branded stores: "Khleb", "Svezhiy Khleb", "Khlebservis", "Karavay Prydzvinnya", "Dukhmyany Khleb".
