RUPP "Vityaz" has mastered the production of energy-saving light bulbs, the head of the marketing department of the enterprise, Sergey Ivanov, told a BELTA correspondent. The power of the light bulbs is 11 W, 13 W, 15 W, 20 W, and 26 W. They are produced with narrow and wide bases, spiral and U-shaped, with warm and cold light colors. A total of 14 types of the new product are currently in production. The monthly production volume is about 40 thousand units. In the near future, it is planned to double it. About 11 thousand energy-saving light bulbs from RUPP "Vityaz" have already entered the republic's trade network. Their obvious advantage is a more attractive price compared to similar products from foreign manufacturers. "In addition, the Vitebsk enterprise provides a one-year warranty on its products, which is also more profitable," noted Sergey Ivanov. In 2010, RUPP "Vityaz" plans to expand the range of energy-saving light bulbs to 50 items. The production volume will be formed depending on customer demand. For January-October of the current year, the enterprise produced products at the level of last year. Inventories of television equipment decreased from 167 thousand as of July 1 to 38 thousand as of November 1. The enterprise was founded in 1976. It specializes in the production of televisions. It also produces fire-fighting equipment, household appliances, medical equipment, furniture, and building materials. The number of employees is about 5 thousand people. -0-
