Braslav will celebrate its 950th anniversary on June 6-7. This program outlines all the creative venues where the main festive events will take place.
June 6
Square near the Church
13:00-16:30 - Grand opening of the international festival of traditional culture "Braslavskie Zarnitsy-2015"
13:30-16:30 - Regional review competition of vocal and choral groups "Braslav Choral Assemblies" and a tournament of Belarusian folk dances
Throughout the event, there will be an exhibition of paintings by Braslav artist Yan Rydyk "Legends of Braslav".
"Zamkovaya Gora" Settlement
17:00 - Ticket sales begin, preparation for the opening of the medieval culture festival "Meč Bračislava"
18:00-18:30 - Parade of warriors around the Zamkovaya Gora settlement. Grand opening of the festival. Opening speech by Prince Bryachislav. Theatrical performance by "Masterkaya Vpechatleniy" "Legends of Braslav". Presentation of clubs. "Live fire" retrieval

14:00 - Presentation of the "Braslav Folwark" homestead with the participation of rural councils and agro-estates of the district. Tasting of ukha (fish soup), acquaintance with local fishermen's customs and secrets of fishing cuisine, thematic exhibition of folk craftsmen, virtual journey through the Braslav lakes
The festival will feature an exhibition-sale of enterprises of the Braslav district, a craft row, attractions, and playgrounds. The "From Bast Shoes to High Heels" competition-race will be held.
