Regional qualifying rounds for the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk 2019" performer contests will begin on December 5.

The regional qualifying rounds for the international contests of "Slavianski Bazaar – 2019" will kick off in Grodno on December 5. The next day, Vitebsk will take over the baton, and Gomel will conclude it on December 14.

To participate in the qualifiers, applicants must perform two compositions and convince the jury that they are worthy of representing Belarus at the international competition. The expert commission will include leading specialists in the field of pop art, representatives of state bodies and cultural institutions, as well as popular Belarusian pop artists, music producers, composers, and directors – natives of the regions where the selection is held.

During the auditions, established performers will conduct master classes for the contestants. They will become mentors for all participants, share their own experience of ascending the professional stage, and provide recommendations on how to win over the audience.

The dates for the XXVIII International Festival of Arts have also been announced; the forum will be held from July 11 to 15.
