A Orthodox camp will start operating near Vitebsk from June 5
From June 5, the Orthodox health camp "Druzhba" (Friendship) in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Upbringing" will begin its work. The camp is designed for recreation and health improvement of children aged 6-15 years. It is located very close to the regional center – 10 kilometers from Vitebsk – on the shore of Lake Bernskoye (two kilometers from the village of Vorony). Children will live in three stationary buildings. The first shift will last from June 5 to June 22, the second from July 3 to July 20, and the third from August 7 to August 24. A distinctive feature of the Orthodox camp is not only recreation and usual entertainment events, but also the upbringing of children in the spirit of patriotism based on the Orthodox traditions of our people. The motto of camp life this year is "Let's learn to be friends!". Tourist programs, balls, evening bonfires, and other events aimed at developing personal responsibility, strengthening spiritual and physical health, and instilling positive communication skills and independence will also be organized here. Information phone numbers: 23-64-34 and 8 (029) 268-56-23 (MTS).
