What issues did the applicants raise with the President's Aide – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich?
How to restore one's good name and is it possible to live in a new house without water? Residents of the northern region of the country turned to the President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, with such questions.
Ekaterina Burunova, for example, sold her housing in the regional center to finish building a house in the suburbs. They carried building materials on their own shoulders – it is impossible to drive up to any of the houses on 4 streets even now. There are no roads.
Local authorities promised to solve the problem by June. Anatoly Linevich demanded that the issue be resolved – both the water supply and the roads – by May 9.
Ekaterina Burunova, resident of the village of Vorony:
- We moved in a year ago in the hope that we would soon get water. The authorities promised that gas, electricity, water, and roads and access roads would be provided. There is gas, there is electricity, there is no water. We have to drive, it's good that we have relatives in the city, – they let us use their apartment to wash. We sold all our real estate.
Anatoly Linevich, President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region:
- There were appeals to the regional executive committee regarding the construction and improvement of streets and individual houses under construction. And today, decisions have already been made, funding has been allocated, and work will be carried out on laying the water pipeline, roads, and so on. As for other issues, they are absolutely diverse, and I see here the desire of the authorities to treat people's problems with understanding.
More than a dozen and a half people signed up for an appointment with the President's Aide. These are residents of Vitebsk and its surrounding areas. All issues have been taken under special control.
