Angelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, visited the Lepel region on a working trip
The business trip included visits to the retail outlets of the Lepel branch of the regional consumer union, reception of citizens, as well as a visit to the "Lepel MCC" branch.
- After all, I see Lepel region as an industrial area. Much has already been done here, but there is also good potential. Regarding the Lepel branch of the consumer union, I would like to see the launch of its own processing, possibly the implementation of canning and freezing processes. Speaking about the milk and canned goods plant, I would focus on the issues of production modernization, as well as expanding export trade.
As Anzhelika Aleksandrovna emphasized, the basis for the development of any region is strong enterprises, which must certainly invest in innovations, and master modern, in-demand types of activities and products.
- The most important thing is to work in such a way that people's wages are high, - added the representative of the authorities.
