An inventor in the Sharkovshchyna district is building homemade aircraft

Самодельные летательные аппараты создает изобретатель в Шарковщинском районе

From childhood, Andris Boyarynsh, a resident of the agro-town of Dvornovo in the Sharkovshchyna district, was drawn to the boundless blue sky. Thanks to hard work and ingenuity, his dream became a reality. Flying over his native land is no longer a dream or a fantasy. If the weather conditions are favorable, his self-constructed motor paraglider and hang glider are ready to soar into the sky at any moment.

His fellow villagers have long grown accustomed to the hum of the homemade aircraft's engine. Nevertheless, upon spotting it in the distance, they watch with unwavering gaze as it fearlessly soars through the air, rising closer to the sun or descending to the earth.

Initially, Andris Gunarovich built a hang glider. It is much heavier and slower than the motor paraglider, which is also more mobile for transportation. Parts for the improved model were sourced from different countries. He acquired the wing in Ukraine, the engine, propeller, and some other components in Russia. Thus, gradually, step by step, a steel bird was created from individual small mechanisms and pieces of metal.

It is difficult to say what attracts the rural craftsman more: the desire to conquer the vast expanses of the air or to design an aircraft based on his own blueprints, one that has no equal in the world. His beloved hobby fills his heart with joy, gives him strength, and vital energy.
