The Kulakov family will represent the Vitebsk region at the republican competition "Family of the Year"
The Kulakovs have approached the preparation of the competition tasks very seriously.
– On the one hand, we wanted to stand out with originality of ideas and presentation, and on the other hand, it is important to meet the competition requirements and remain true to ourselves, our family traditions and values, – says Marina Kulakova. – Therefore, the theme of our small homeland is reflected in every part of our performance. We hope to surprise the spectators with a special view of the family and its role in the life of our country.
There will be two competition tasks in the final stage. The Kulakovs will tell the story of their family as part of the "Rodovod" (Family Tree) presentation.
– We present our life and our entire lineage as a river that originates from small springs, but along its course, it receives tributaries and streams, becoming strong and full-flowing, acquiring special creative and life-giving power, – explains Marina Kulakova. – We will remember our ancestors, their traditions, which are carefully preserved by their descendants and proudly passed down from generation to generation.
In the second task, "My Country – My Family," the Kulakovs plan to voice their social position, which consists in preserving and reviving the cultural traditions of the Belarusian people.
The family has done a great job preparing the script, musical and artistic design of the performances, and thinking through the stage images. They are assisted in their preparation by the collectives of Gymnasium No. 5 of Vitebsk, where Denis and Marina's children study, the Vitebsk State College of Culture and Arts, the fashion theatre "Charodeyka", the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Pervomaysky District, the cultural and historical complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk 'Dvina'", and TRK "Vitebsk". Relatives and friends also help, for which the family expresses sincere gratitude to everyone.
