The Savchenko family with the largest family tree became the best large family in Vitebsk
On May 5, the traditional review competition dedicated to the International Day of Families (May 15) was held at the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth in Vitebsk. It has been held annually since 2012 with the aim of enhancing the prestige and authority of large families, strengthening their unity, spiritual and moral foundations, reviving and promoting family values and traditions.
This year, 6 large families took part in the event, including Svetlana and Igor Chursin, who have six biological and one adopted child. The other contestants had slightly smaller families. But the winners - Anna and Sergey Savchenko and their four children - distinguished themselves by the fact that their families had been large for generations. Therefore, the team had the largest support group. In addition, the participants themselves looked the most cohesive, partly thanks to the matching outfits sewn by the mother for the whole family.
All six teams presented their business cards: the history of the family, family customs and traditions; applied arts - works made by parents and children. The families also prepared a socially significant project "My Country - My Family!" (presentation of the active life position of family members, hobbies, successes). In each of the competitions, a winner was determined in a nomination. And based on the total score, the winners of the three prize places were chosen. All participants were generously gifted by sponsors, and the Savchenko family received a cash prize from the city executive committee.
