Seventeen republican enterprises are planned to be corporatized in the Vitebsk region in 2011-2013

Seventeen enterprises of republican ownership located in the Vitebsk region are planned to be corporatized in 2011-2013, the regional territorial fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" informed a BELTA correspondent. The list of enterprises scheduled for transformation includes construction enterprises RUP "Vitebsk DSK" and "Stroitelno-montazhny trest №22 g.Polotska", PRUP "Novopolotskzhelezobeton", "Zavod "Evistor", RUPP "Begomlsky zavod "Vetraz", RUPP "Vitebskvtormet" and a number of other enterprises. The most significant volume of reform work is to be carried out in 2013, when it is planned to corporatize 8 enterprises, including RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom", RUP "Vitebsky likero-vodochny zavod "Pridvinye", a subsidiary enterprise for oil products supply "Belorusneft - Vitebskoblnefteprodukt". In addition, in 2011-2013, it is planned to privatize state-owned blocks of shares of almost 40 open joint-stock companies operating in the region by various methods. Taking into account the upcoming reform, almost all enterprises planned for corporatization this year have begun preparatory work in accordance with the developed schedule, and deadlines for preparing privatization projects for enterprises have been set. The "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" fund has organized training seminars for managers and officials on the inventory of fixed assets and the preparation of a balance sheet, which will form the basis for the formation of the authorized capital of future joint-stock companies. In 2008-2010, 40 enterprises of republican form of ownership were transformed in the Vitebsk region, on the basis of which 30 OJSCs were established. -0-
