A pastry chef from Vitebsk won a silver medal at the World Culinary Cup

For the first time, Belarusian confectioners have won so many top awards at the World Culinary Cup. The exhibition "Expogast-2014", within the framework of which the confectioners' competitions were held, took place from November 22 to 26 in Luxembourg.

The exhibition "Expogast-2014", within the framework of which the confectioners' competitions were held, took place from November 22 to 26 in Luxembourg. More than 450 chefs and confectioners from all 5 continents competed for the title of the best in individual competitions, as well as 45 national teams. The Belarusian team, which included our compatriot, a sixth-category confectioner from OJSC "Vitebskhlebprom" Nadezhda Bogatenko, won three gold, two silver, and four bronze medals. Nadia received a silver medal for her caramel work titled "Christmas Lantern"!

The craftswoman's collection of awards includes not only gold medals but also Grand Prix at competitions of various levels. Therefore, the high оценка by the jury, which included international experts and members of the World Culinary Association, is honorable but natural.
